Freda és la nit,
mentre la mort
es passeja amb delit.
El teló negre,
de la nit glaçada,
es veu esquinçat,
per la llum tènua
de la Lluna mig ennovulada.
En la seva forma,
blanca, implacable i dura,
es troba l'aigua,
quieta i tossuda,
inmòbil i petrificada,
fent de vestit blanc,
del llarg hivern,
i de la vida arrecerada.
Premeu fort la mà atançada,
Tingueu cura de les persones estimades,
doncs no permeteu que la fredor d'aquest temps,
us ompli l'ànima,
puix que l'escalfor de l'amistat,
la família i la vida,
és el millor remei,
per combatre aquesta blanca ferida.
